Our Services

Evaluations
Building Blocks offers both comprehensive evaluations and intake screenings, determined on an individual basis. Comprehensive evaluations include standardized testing and a detailed written report.

If your child has already been evaluated or is currently receiving services, we may recommend starting with a screening before beginning services at our clinic. A screening includes an assessment of current skill levels, documented observations, a treatment plan, and a concise one-page report.

Therapy Sessions
At Building Blocks, speech and language therapy sessions are individualized and child-centered, designed to support each child’s unique needs. Sessions last 30–45 minutes and focus on developing functional, effective communication skills for meaningful, real-life interactions.

Therapy may address speech and language delays or disorders, including but not limited to:

  • Apraxia and Dysarthria

  • Speech sound disorders

  • Genetic disorders

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

  • Expressive and Receptive Language Disorders/Delays

  • Language and Central Auditory Processing Disorders

  • Pragmatic (social) language delays

Feeding Therapy

Our pediatric feeding therapy uses a sensory-motor approach to support children who experience challenges with eating, feeding, or swallowing. Sessions address medical and nutritional needs while incorporating pre-feeding exercises to build oral motor skills, promoting safe, effective, and nourishing mealtimes.
