Meet Trina!
Trina has been a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist for over 14 years. Her work focuses on child-centered therapy targeting individualized needs. Trina earned her Masters degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. Since then, her clinical drive has centered on supporting children and their families in functional communication, building connections and supporting individualized potential. Trina's therapy services target expressive and receptive language development, articulation and speech sound production, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and social language skills for children from birth to adolescence.
Trina also specializes in pediatric feeding therapy, including oral motor skill development, feeding disorders, restricted food intake, and overall feeding skills. She is licensed to practice in New York State and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Trina has received specialized training in PROMPT: Bridging, DIR/Floortime, and NDT.
Trina lives locally with her husband, two daughters, and their dog, Emme. She enjoys baking and hopes to have some wins in gardening. Even before having her own children, Trina loved babies, big kids and everyone in between. In a career dedicated to helping children communicate, she loves and accepts them to their core and strives to help them interact with others a little more easily.
